The hero is young Taishi Takamura. Taishi's mother and father were killed by agents of the Kanto Army, who were after the secret of the Kishin robots' power. Before his death, Taishi's scientist father slipped him the alien device the army is seeking; subsequently Taishi finds himself on the run from just about everyone. "Fight bravely, Kishin Corps!"
