Special Agent
Dana Scully (played by
Gillian Anderson), a
doctor, is paired with Special Agent
Fox Mulder (
David Duchovny), an agent who has devoted his life in search of
extraterrestrial life and other
unexplained phenomena.
They investigate a series of
mysterious deaths of a number of high school students.
Mulder claims that
aliens are
abducting the kids.
After some investigating, they believe that the town's sheriff's son, Billy is involved in the murders, although he is lying in a hospital in a near-
comatose state.
Mulder and Scully find Billy in the woods where the kids were found, raising a teenaged girl in the air towards a bright light in the sky.
After a sudden blaze of light, the boy is suddenly normal and the girl is still alive.
