The Electric Mayhem was the house band on The Muppet Show. They are still together today, as seen in Muppets From Space. Led by Dr. Teeth on electric piano and voice, the band consists of "Sgt." Floyd Pepper (bass guitar/vocals), Janice (guitar/vocals), Zoot (saxophone), Animal (drum set), and Lips (trumpet). Don Knotts tried to play string bass with the band on "Lullaby of Birdland", but he required sheet music, something the others hadn't seen in years.
