color in the color frame slot of an instrument. It's sole purposes are to provide an easy way of handling
color, as well as holding the
color steady in front of the instruments. Color frames are usually made out of
metal, although some companies are starting to
manufacture fireproof cardboard ones for
safety reasons. Metal color frames can be very dangerous when dropped from up high.
