A six-toed rare breed of dog. Thought to have survived the last ice age, this is one of the oldest domesticated working breeds. These dogs were used for hunting puffins along the rocky coast of Norway. Nearly wiped out in the early 60's by a distemper outbreak, this breed has survived, and in the early 80's introduced to the Americas. A spitz-type dog, the Lundehund is a small dog with with a big dog temperment.
