This song appears on the "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" soundtrack. It can be heard during the closing credits of the movie.

The song has recently (as of the end of August 2001) become one of the most heavily requested songs in many radio stations (putting aside for the moment the fact that American radio is about 65-75% country/western).

It is interesting to note that "Afroman" attributes the success of this song to the ill-fated peer-to-peer music sharing service Napster. The irony in this is that the recording industry fought to shut Napster down on the narrow assumption that it was damaging the recording industry, while in this case (and to a lesser degree, several other cases), the commercial success of a song has been directly attributed to it.
