Bruce Campell is also known for his work in de-glamorizing Hollywood. On his website (mentioned in another write-up) he informs his readers of the real hard work that it takes being an
actor, and point out than some of the hardest working actors in
Hollywood aren't living like kings in giant
mansions. It is obvious that he resents the "superstar" image given to some actors.
"I get up, I go to work, it's just like being a
welder, only instead of welding I'm entertaining people."
This was part of a response to an e-mail that I wrote to Mr. Campbell. While I personally believe that he probably lives a lot better than most, he seems to be down-to-earth and very
realistic about his place in life. It's something I kind of
admire in the man.
