Have you seen the Crane Cam? If not, you're missing out. In the NASCAR races held at larger tracks, FOX or equivalent network sports crews place a crane in one of the turns, with a camera mounted at the end.

The camera starts high in the air, pointing into the oncoming traffic. Then, as the leaders pass, the camera swings left and downward, following the cars at ground level. As the cars pass, the camera rises into the air and watches them pull away. The effect is dramatic.

CBS had the Crame Cam back before FOX got NASCAR, and I'm glad the guys at FOX mastered its use after the 2001 Daytona 500.
