A new addition to the onslaught of the .com craze. The GalleryFurniture.com bowl was held in Houston, Texas for the first time on December 27, 2000. Texas Tech University and Eastern Carolina University were honored as being the first teams to compete in the bowl. ECU, however, was bestowed with an even higher honor of being the first team to win the GalleryFurniture.com bowl.
