Cho Chang is a minor character in the Harry Potter books. She is a Ravenclaw in the year above Harry, and plays Seeker on their Quidditch team. Although this might make her worthy of note in her own right, she has come to our attention in the role of Harry's crush. She is physically attractive, with much made of her long, silky black hair pulled back into a waist-length plait. Her character is less well described beyond the fact that she is clearly popular, confident, and seemingly uninterested in Harry. There is a theory, mainly confined to the writers of bad fanfics, that she could be a lesbian. Yes, that sort of fanfic.
