Johnny Olson (1910-1985) is best remembered for being the announcer on the CBS game show The Price is Right from 1972 to 1985 and for originating its famous catchphrase: "Come on down!" He also frequently acted in skits on the show. When Olson died, he was succeeded on the show by Rod Roddy.

He had a lengthy career as a television and radio announcer. Of his many jobs, the most notable one next to The Price is Right was working as the announcer on The Jackie Gleason Show from 1962 to 1970.
