A music band from Eskilstuna, Sweden. Consists of Joakim Berg (vocals / guitar), Martin Sköld (bass/ keyboards), Sami Sirviö (guitar / keyboars), Harri Mänty (guitar / drum machine / percussion) and Markus Mustonen (drums / piano). Martin Roos played guitar in the original setting but was replaced by Harri Mänty after the first album.

Kent has a distinct melancholy style that no other band in Sweden has managed to emulate, and Joakim Berg's (Swedish) lyrics has qualities above and beyond most contemporary bands. In english, though, the results - both lyrically and vocal-wise - have been inferior to the swedish versions of their songs.

Notable songs are "Utan Dina Andetag" and "Rödljus", both originally B-sides.
