Saginaw, city, capital of Saginaw Co., Mich., on the Saginaw River, at the head of navigation, 100 miles N.W. of Detroit. It is the railroad center and commercial metropolis of northern Michigan, and one of the largest lumber manufacturing cities in the States; annual products, over $12,000,000. Pop. (1910) 50,510.
