This is the pairing of
Andrew Marshall and
David Renwick which brought many wonderful series comedy to british radio and television in the 70's and 80's. They are particularly remembered for "
The Burkiss Way (to Dynamic Living)" and "Whoops Apocalypse" (which was made into a film with Peter Cook amongst others). They also created "Hot Metal" about the popular press.
They have since gone their separate ways but are still producing classics such as "One Foot in the Grave", "2 point 4 Children" and "
Jonathan Creek".
