Time is no more equivalent to
money than money is equivalent to
cars, turkey
sandwiches, cruise ship
tickets, or automotive repair services charged by the
hour. The
value of any of these things can only be measured by what you are willing to give up in
exchange for them.
A diamond ring might be nice, but is it worth the cash you'd have to give up to get it? Is the cash you'd have to give up worth the time it would take you to earn it?
You'll almost certainly make some more money before you die, you will not get one second of your time back.
