Acronym for "Erick and Parrish Making Dollars" and a rap group including Erick Sermon, Parrish Smith, and DJ Scratch.

With their debut album, Strictly Business, in 1988, they took the rap scene by storm with such singles as "You Gots to Chill" and "You're a Customer".

They recorded three more albums, Unfinished Business, Business As Usual, and Business Never Personal, before splitting up in 1992. By that time, they had worked with such acts as LL Cool J, Das EFX, and Redman and were regarded as one of the pioneers of hip-hop and rap music.

In 1997, they reunited to release Back in Business, a strong comeback after five years apart, and announced their retirement with their final album, Out of Business in 1999.
