committer is someone who can
commit to a
source repository such as
CVS in a
software project.
In FreeBSD, we have over 200 committers! Some committers tend to get into arguments often (being that there are so many people with so very different backgrounds and experience), however for the most part there is largely a sense of comradery among us all, and a number of lasting friendships are formed among the group of developers.
