Home Again Without You

From the frigid air outside I return home,
But the weather is not as cold as to be alone;
Away from the heat of your tender embrace,
The warm expressions of your beautiful face,
And the fiery passion of our kisses dear,
I think of you and shiver to not be near.

Home again without you,
Home again without you,
So cold my house does seem.
Why could I not wake up and find you here /
and have our separation be just a frosty dream?
