The Ware Group was a group of New Deal bureaucrats who secretly supplied information to Soviet intelligence (NKVD) during the 1930's. Most of the members of the group including its namesake Harold Ware worked in the Agricultural Adjustment Agency (AAA). The spies in the group included the likes of Alger Hiss, John Abt, Henry Colins, John Herrmann, Victor Perlo, Lee Pressman, Nathaniel Weyl and Nathan Witt.

The group broke up after Ware died in a car accident 1935. However most of the members continued to work for the Soviets in some capacity, with the most famous being Alger Hiss.
