A phrase that is often heard either just prior, or just subsequent to a bad thing befalling someone.

The implication, or perhaps explication here, is that someone has insisted on having or doing something, and they did not think it through, or are somehow unaware of its full effects.

Party of the First Part: "Will you just toss me the damned chainsaw, already?!"

Party of the Second Part: "Well, you asked for it..."

Party of the First Part: "squish!"

Chainsaw of the First Part: "vrrrmmm-rmm-rmm!"
