Lots of software uses GNU readline for input, so I thought I'd share some of my useful bindings that make programs like gdb, calc and irb nicer to work in (although I usually prefer vi keys). Stick em in your ~/.inputrc.

"\d": backward-delete-char # Backspace
"\e[3~": delete-char # Delete
