Patagonia,
marijuana, and dreadlocks (usually white). Inspite of the dort and nature aesthetic, other cultural signifiers include expensive consumer electronics (
Sharper Image anyone?), or extreme sports equipment (
REI junkies).
In the
90's Trustafarian had a seperate meaning in
London where it labels the equally endowed and idle, but more stylish residents of the one West Indian Notting Hill section.
