scraps of
fabric, and string. The story is that if you tell a
wish to one of them before you
go to bed, and then put it
under your pillow, the trouble doll will get up
while you're sleeping and put everything right.
The trouble i told them most often when i was a small child was that no one took me seriously when i said i didn't like eggs. In retrospect, i guess they came up with a solution, just not overnight.
