trolley

Spiffy little railway systems. Normally used for fairly short lengths of track, like intra-city stuff. San Diego has them {bright red ones, too!) ... Rail trolley cars are sometimes referred to as LRV's... short for Light Rail Vehicles. They're powered by electricity, not to be confused with ElectriCiti, also in San Diego :)
