She stood leaning against the bus stop signpost, her gaze lost somewhere in the distance. The wind whipped her long skirt against her body outlining the curves of her legs. Her waist length hair danced with the wind, glinting copper in the bright midday sun. She seemed unaware as it waved alternately behind her then in front of her face catching on her wine kissed lips. I wonder if she realized the vision she presented, if she knew how lovely she was. She didn't take her hands from her pockets to remove the errant strands clinging to her mouth. She continued watching the unseen unaffected by the elements around her.

I quelled the urge to reach out and brush it away for her, to allow my fingers to caress her cheek. She was here, but not here with me. I didn't want to interrupt the movie in her mind.
