Sad little character in the Halo Jones series of graphic novels by Alan Moore and Ian Gibson: roommate to Halo and her friend Toy on the Clara Pandy. The Glyph has had so many sex changes it doesn't know whether it's a girl or a boy, and in the process its personality has been removed, so nobody notices it. In the episode 'I'll never forget ol' whats-its-name' the Glyph saves Halo's life when her robot dog goes mad and tries to kill her, and dies in the process. Its roommates still don't remember it.
