A Large Scale Structure of the Universe. A large collection of Galaxies spanning over huge proportions.

Recent Observations have shown that superclusters are distributed in a periodic and ordered fashion, and not in a random or chaotic fashion, as previously thought.

The Milky Way Galaxy belongs to the Local Supercluster.
