Adjective usually used in relation to some electronic music with rhythmic beats. A stonking track has the effect of, at least, making one nod one's head enthusiastically to the beat; at most, mysteriously impelling one onto the dance floor, where one proceeds to flail one's extremities to the mindblowing rhythm. Flushed and disorientated after this experience, one then gasps, "That track was stonkin'!" (the 'g' is optional). Like almost any of Fatboy Slim's, or "I Feel Love".
