A piece of unassuming plastic-like cloth (or is it cloth-like plastic?) that will presumably, if properly grounded, greatly reduce any chance of ESD, or Electro Static Discharge. Along with a Anti-static strap or grounding strap helps to aid in the longevity of computer hardware and other nice things that have green boards with solder.
