A squat thrust is an excercise commonly inflicted upon students in Physical Education classes. As the name implies, it involves a squat, and a thrust. The victim starts in a standing position, then squats down and places his/her hands on the floor in front of himself at shoulder width. For the thrusting portion, one rocks slightly forward in order to place his weight on his hands, and then thrusts his legs backward, ending up in a pushup position. The process is then reversed and repeated.
