silliness can be merely random, or weirdly calculated strangeness, or both, or neither. silliness can be fun, or evil, or both, or neither. silliness transcends all description, it is a quality and is thus undescribable. sometimes, though, it takes the form of important-sounding rambling (for example, this node). Silliness is usually a Good Thing, but in some situations can be the Wrong Thing.
