Slang term for the season of MST3K on the old KTMA channel. This is where MST3K got its start. To date, no copies of episodes K01, K02, or K03 are said to exist in the hands of fans. Recorded with nearly no post-production or rehearsing.

It should be noted that none of these episodes were "written" per se, as Joel Hodgson, Josh Weinstein (playing Tom Servo), and Trace Beaulieu (playing Crow T. Robot) would sit in front of a screen and watch bad movies for perhaps the first time in their lives. The show had to be finished by about 5:00pm so the local wrestling review show could be taped.
