roma tomatoes

A variety of tomato that is more meaty and less juicy then the regular vine tomato. It is most commonly found canned (whole, cubed, crushed, or in paste form) in the grocery store. Used primarily in cooking, especially pasta sauces.
I belive they are the same thing as plum tomatoes (but I could be wrong).
