A useful
item that allows you to
control your
destination if you are
teleported. Note that the ring of teleport control does not actually confer
teleportation; it must be worn in conjunction with a
ring of teleportation or
intrinsic teleportation (aka "
teleportitis") to be fully functional. Even without the
ring or the
intrinsic, you will still be able to control where you go if you are
zapped by a
wand of teleportation, step on a
teleportation trap, or hit with some other
teleporting
effect.
If you attempt to teleport into a wall or a void, you will instead be randomly teleported.
