Retroussé is a fancy way of saying 'turned up', and is most often applied (in English) to noses. (Not in the sense of "to turn up one's nose", but in the sense of pug nose). It has also acquired the implication of a small turned up nose.

Retroussé is the past participle of retrousser, the French word meaning 'to turn back'.

Other types of noses include the Roman nose (AKA the aquiline nose or hooknose), the Grecian nose, the cogitative nose, the hawk nose (AKA the Arabic nose or Semitic nose), the celestial nose, the snub nose, and the bulbous nose. These can be combined in any number of combinations.
