r/o is Internet BBS shorthand for "read on." One puts it in at the end of a subject field to indicate that there is more information within the posting. Frequently used on BBS's where most information is just one-liners in the subject. r/o is the semantic opposite of n/t.

Example: Why do people post such dumb things to this board? (r/o)
