Poohbah, sometimes spelt pooh-bah, is an amazing word that can be used in any context to mean just about everything. Its origin lies in the Gilbert and Sullivan play The Mikado. In a British dictionary, a Poohbah is a person who feels that can do many things, affects and air of superiority but knows very little. In an American dictionary, it is somebody who is knowledgable in many areas. Wierd, eh?
