A scientific term for "smelly feet." It's a euphemism, but not a very good one, seeing as you'd rather tell your guests that you have smelly feet than that you have something sounding like a horrible disease of your sexual organs. The condition could really be due to anything, considering that myriads of diseases could cause smelly feet-- not to mention that plenty of people have rather noisome feet as it is.

podo: Variation of Greek pod-, for foot.

brom: Variation of bromo-, from Greek br¯omos for stench.

hidrosis: From Greek hidr¯osis, for sweating. This is in itself from Greek hidr¯os, for sweat.
