Oil and Vinegar also form the base of many more complicated salad dressings. They can be added as a seasoning to sandwiches, especially of the "submarine" type, and are available at the chain Subway as well as any good sub shop. Oil and vinegar mixed together can function as a delightfully tasty dip for bread.
