From
Neo Geo, this
arcade game puts you in command of two elite
ninja,
Hayabusa and
Joe. It appears that a mysterious tower has suddenly sprung up in the middle of
Tokyo and all sorts of
kung-fu goons are out wrecking up the town.
You guide Hayabusa and Joe through several levels of poorly controlled ninja action, gaining allies along the way who also happened to be
Mid-Level Mini-Bosses who are either under
mind control, testing our heroes or have been tricked into serving the
dark master.
While the difficulty of the game rises the further you progress, it is never an even advancement leading to a lot of quarter pumping if you really absolutely must reach the end of the game. Even then, the ending is not worth the price unless you have been playing on
Mame.
