  1. Music played primarily by and/or for nerds. Some would say Nerf Herder is an example. See also: nerd rock

  2. Nerds that are very hard core. Since these days just about anybody can get away with proclaiming themself to be a nerd, the importance of being nerd to the very bone cannot be stressed enough. Please do not use this term lightly, lest it becomes equally abused.
