Multicable is cable that carries more than one circuit. It generally found in 6 circuit or 12 circuit varieties, with socapex connectors. A breakout is then used to break out each circuit into the appropriate single circuit connectors. It generally is used for touring shows and temporary installations particuarlly when the theater doesn't have many house circuits. Proposals that involve multicable should be reacted to by screaming and running. Multicable is stiff, heavy, and usually dirty. One hundred feet of 12 circuit multicable is usually too much for one person to carry. However, it's much better than home runs.
