A tortuous scenario that may be a result of unrequited love, or could also be the pangs of love itself; a bittersweet yearning that can alternate between feelings of despair, joy, hope, and heartache.

Love can feel so intense, overwhelming, or euphoric that a feeling of real sickness results. In my experience the sickness is felt mostly in my stomach.
