The korn shell. My shell of choice when working on Solaris systems. The first shell to introduce modern shell techniques (including some borrowed from the C shell) into the bourne shell. One of the many shells that you can use on most Unix (mainly POSIX compliant ones) systems.

The korn shell. The UNIX shell used by Nebraskans (Ya know, the CornHusker State...). C Shell (Csh) is used by those on the coast (Ya know "Sea" Shell...).

ksh was born in year 1982, and has not changed much since that time.
