a small, off-duty Czechoslovakian traffic warden, an ice polisher is actually used to achieve the optimum ice texture for causing
freshmen to scream "Damn,
that makes my ass hurt!". This is about halfway between
teflon and a
banana peel, and is the result of thousands of
wizened penguinesque
upperclassmen compacting the topmost layer of snow into the ice substrate. Fleets of them can be found on the
Purdue University campus during the winter months.
