Always keep your
beverage in sight -- this means not even leaving it with a trusted friend. Your friend may become distracted and not notice a
drug has been slipped into it.
Never accept an open drink from anyone.
Avoid drinking punch at social gatherings-- date rape drugs can easily be added to an open bowl.
Use the buddy system. Watch out for your friends and have them watch out for you.
If your friend experiences any symptoms, do not leave their side.
Bear in mind that the beginning effects of these drugs appear very similar to the effects of alcohol.
