What people call a "badge" from "
making out". One is most commonly caused by someone sucking on one person's neck (or other body part), causing the
capillaries underneath the skin to burst, which causes a reddish-purpley bruise.
It is polite to make sure it is ok, before leaving one of these in a place visible, while fully clothed.
