Heraldic animals are the ones painted in seals of
royal or
noble families
. They are usually used in
flags and
shields.
Most used heraldic animal is definitely lion. Even from nordic countries Finland (standing on a sword and keeping other in hand), Norway (handing an axe), Sweden (with three crowns) and Denmark (three lions one on the another) are using it.
