  1. A sticking point in a personality, sometimes identified as an issue, but more often unknown, denied, or vigourously defended as justified. That's always's been a hang-up of mine. I should get over it. A prejudice. An attachment or aversion, usually more likely an aversion. A type of samskara. A habitual reaction to something. I have a hang-up about flakiness.
  2. A fetish or antifetish, again, usually the antifetish.
  3. A telephone call consisting only of a hang up.
