Drama performed in public, not on a stage, often with elements of audience participation, voluntary or not. Usually short, sometimes improvised. The technique is designed to blur the boundaries in the audience's mind about what is performance and what is reality and use the resulting confusion to enhance delivery of the troupe's message.
